Inline Translator: Dictionary

Inline Translator can translate single words using Dictionary.

The Dictionary covers almost all English language combinations and some mixed language pairs.  The Dictionary continues to expand with new language combinations.

How to see Word Translations

To see word translations, select a word with the mouse and:

• use the context menu   ImTranslator: Translator, Dictionary, TTS, and choose Inline Translator: Translate selection
• or use shortcuts (Alt+C)

Depending on your settings in Inline Translator Options, the word translations will be displayed after or before the selection, or may simply replace the original.

The position of the translations in the translation can be specified in Inline Translator Options Appearance.

• Insert AFTER the original -  is the default settings
• Insert BEFORE original can be chosen in Appearance
• REPLACE the original can be chosen in Appearance ("Hide original" settings)

If the dictionary doesn't contain the word you want to explore, you will see a regular translation.
