PROMT-Online was the first online translation service that Smart Link Corporation developed and launched in 2000. Today PROMT-Online remains the most visited online translation service among many other developed afterward.

• Smart Link Corporation developed and launched its first online translation site in June 2000 under the name of PROMT-Online.  At that time this free translation service supported 5 languages, and 12 language combinations.

• In the beginning PROMT-Online Translator included online translation, a text editor with basic editing functions, back translation, printing and email client.

• Later on more languages and new language tools have been added, such as virtual keyboard (2002), online spell checker (2003), multilingual dictionary, Russian decoder (2003), text-to-speech (2007), the translation comparison tool and others.

Today PROMT-Online supports 15 languages and 42 language combinations, and remains one of the most visited online translation service.
