ImTranslator Translation

ImTranslator Translation was first developed and launched in January, 2011. The new translation service has been significantly redesigned and rethought in 2017 to offer a new more clear look, languages and functionalities. This translation service is intended to provide an instant translation of words, phrases and texts in over 100 languages between three translation providers.

This translation tool includes the following modules: translation editor, virtual keyboard, spellchecker, dictionary, Russian decoder and transliteration, text-to-speech, back translation, printing, and email client. The translator's interface is localized to 23 languages to target the native speakers audience.

ImTranslator Translation service allows you to input text in over 40 languages using the virtual keyboard, check spelling of the text in 8 languages, look up words and phrases in the dictionary in 8 languages, translate between 55 languages, convert an unreadable Russian text into the standard Cyrillic encoding, transliterate Russian text, listen to the original text and its translation in 10 languages, print translation and send email right from the translation window.

ImTranslator Translation site supports 104 languages powered by three translation providers: Promt, Google Translate, Microsoft Translator.

Just enter text for translation, select the translation direction and click Translate.

ImTranslator Translation includes basic editing functions: Copy, Paste, Cut, Delete and change Font Size.

Type, paste or drag-n-drop text to the Original text window.

The virtual keyboard allows you to enter text in the languages not supported by your computer. The Virtual keyboard provides over 40 different language layouts. You can also use the special characters library to input special symbols.

You can enter texts by clicking keys on the virtual keyboard or by using the physical keyboard. The virtual keyboard intercepts the physical keyboard to allow you typing the familiar way.

The built-in spell-checker helps you to check spelling of the input text. The spellchecker supports English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Ukrainian languages.

Check mark the "Auto Spell" box to allow the spellchecker running automatically when clicking on Translate button. It is highly advised to check spelling of your text before the translation to get best translation results.

The built-in dictionary can serve as a multilingual reference source if you need to look up alternative translations of the words, or words without translation.

The dictionary provides the translation of single words, common phrases and idiomatic expressions. It covers the following languages and their combinations: English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Serbian, and Spanish.

The Russian Decoder converts an unreadable Russian text into standard Russian characters set.

The Russian decoder can transliterate the Russian translation to display Russian text in Latin characters.

Check mark the "Translit" box to enable this feature.

The back translation feature, if checked, translates the target text back to the original language.

This is an easy way to check the accuracy of the translation, and adjust the original text to get more understandable translation result.

ImTranslator integrates the text-to-speech capability. Click on the "Say It" button to listen to the original or translated text in American English, French, German, Italian, European Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean.

The built-in audio player replays the text as many times as desired. The pronounced segments are synchronously highlighted, which makes it easier to follow.

 

You can adjust the voice speed to easy practice your pronunciation.

Send emails directly from the the translator window. You have a choice to send the translation only or add the original text as a reference.

The translator's interface is localized to 23 languages to target the native audience.
