Free Translation Online was developed and launched in June 2000. This was the first online translation service developed by Smart Link Corporation.
First, the translation services supported 5 languages and 12 language combinations, and included text editor, back translation, printing and email.
Later on more languages and new language tools have been added, such as virtual keyboard (2002), online spellchecker (2003), Russian decoder (2003) and others.

Free Translation Online Tutorial

Free Translation Online instantly translates words, phrases or text between 55 languages.

Just enter text for translation, choose the translation direction, and translation  provider, and click Translate.

The translation is provided by three online translation engines: PFree Translation Online, Google Translate and Microsoft Translator.

Just choose the translation which looks better to you.

Automatic language detection will identify the language of the source text on-the-fly.

Just mark the checkbox "Auto detect" next to the language selection, and the language of the source text will be instantly identified. Free Translation Online editor includes basic editing functions: Copy, Paste, and Clear.

The virtual keyboard and special characters list allow you to enter text in languages not supported by your computer.

You can enter texts by clicking on the virtual keyboard or by using the physical keyboard. The virtual keyboard intercepts the physical keyboard to allow you typing the familiar way.

The built-in spellchecker checks spelling of the input text.

The spellchecker supports English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Ukrainian languages.

The Russian Decoder converts an unreadable Russian text into standard Russian characters set.

The back translation feature, if checked, translates the target text back to the original language.
