ImTranslator: Webpage Translation

ImTranslator: Webpage Translation translates an entire webpage between over 100 languages using Google Translate service.
Webpage Translation tool is included in ImTranslator extension for Firefox  and ImTranslator Extension for Chrome.

 

To translate a webpage in the Firefox browser, choose Webpage Translation from:

  • Firefox Tools, imtranslator-small ImTranslator menu
  • Firefox context menu  www-imtranslatorWebpage Translation, then imtranslator-www1Translate this page to
  • imtranslator-small Start ImTranslator menu on the Firefox add-on bar
  • or use the shortcut keys Alt+P (default)

To translate a webpage in the Chrome browser, choose "Translate this page to" a selected language from the context menu "ImTranslator: Translation, Dictionary, TTS".

The context menu provides the choice of a webpage translation mode:

  • translate an entire web page
  • mouseover translation of the text segment

When you choose the Mouseover translation mode, hover your mouse over the original text, and the translation for the highlighted segment will be displayed in an pop-up bubble.

ImTranslator for Firefox can be downloaded from the Mozilla’s official add-ons site.

To run the Webpage Translation:

  • select Webpage Translation from the context menu (Firefox)
  • select "Translate this page to" from the context menu ImTranslator: Translator, Dictionary, TTS menu (Chrome)
  • use the hotkey Alt+P
  •  use Webpage Translation from ImTranslator button on the Firefox toolbar

Web Page Translation translates an entire webpage using Google Translate service.

To translate a webpage in the Firefox browser, choose Webpage Translation  from Firefox Tools, imtranslator-small ImTranslator menu

You may also use the hotkey Alt+P (set by default).

To translate a webpage in Chrome, choose “Translate this page to” a selected language from the context menu “ImTranslator: Translation, Dictionary, TTS”.

Opera-context-menu

The context menu provides the choice of a webpage translation mode: translate the entire web page or mouseover translation.  In this menu you can change the translation language.

When you choose the Mouseover translation mode, hover your mouse over the original text, and the translation for the highlighted segment will be displayed in an pop-up bubble.

 

The context menu allows you to change the translation language using the "Change language" menu.
