ImTranslator: Google Translate

ImTranslator: Google Translate is the standalone application that performs an instant translation up to 5,000 characters using Google Translate service.

This application translates words, phrases and text between 66 languages, detects language on-the-fly, provides the back translation that reverses the translation back to the original language, reads the original text and its translation and even more.

ImTranslator Google Translate

To run the application, do one of the following:

  • click "ImTranslator: Google Translate" button on the Firefox add-on bar
  • select "ImTranslator: Google Translate" from the right-click context menu
  • select "ImTranslator: Google Translate" from the Firefox Tools, ImTranslator menu
  • use the hotkey Ctrl+Alt+Z (default)

To translate, do one of the following:

  • type, paste, or drag-n-drop the text to "Original text" window.  Choose the translation direction and click Translate
  • select the text on the webpage and choose "ImTranslator: Google Translate" from the right-click context menu
  • select the text on the webpage and choose "ImTranslator: Google Translate" from the Firefox Tools, ImTranslator menu
  • select the text on the webpage and use the hotkey Ctrl+Alt+Z (default)

ImTranslator: Google Translate window pops up with the selected text and its translation.
This application can translate up to 5,000 characters at one time.
